The PlayGrand Adventures Foundation is partnering with Grand Prairie Parks, Arts & Recreation to build a safe, fun playground experience. Opening in the Spring of 2019, the playground will include separate adventure areas which are designed to stimulate, challenge and encourage development of several skill sets while providing social interaction, sense of discovery, creativity and exercise.
To raise funds for the new playground, PlayGrand Adventures Foundation along with the City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts & Recreation Department is hosting an exciting event at the Uptown Theater in Grand Prairie on May 5, 2018 at 7:30 pm.
Kechi Okwuchi is known for her self-taught singing talent and was a featured contestant on season 12 of NBC television’s, America’s Got Talent, where she became a top 10 finalist with repeated standing ovations. Sponsors for the evening are Baylor Orthopedic and Spine Hospital at Arlington, Sponsor of the Adventure Zone, and Landscape Structures, Inc., a major supplier of playground equipment.
Tickets for the evening will be $50 for the general seating, and VIP tickets for $75 which includes premium seating and a meet and greet with Kechi prior to her performance.
